"My lovingkindness I will keep for [David] forever, And My covenant shall be confirmed to him. So I will set up his seed to endure forever And his throne as the days of heaven. If his sons forsake My law And do not walk in My judgments, If they profane My statutes And do not keep My commandments, Then I will punish their transgression with the rod And their iniquity with striking. But I will not break off My lovingkindness from him, Nor deal falsely in My faithfulness... But You have cast off and rejected, You have been full of wrath against Your anointed."

“My grace will shine through suffering,” says Yahweh to His sons,

“And through the onslaught of the storm, you shine, my holy ones.

I have not left you or opposed you, children of my heart,

Nor have I given up your blessings to an evil part.

In fact, I’m setting up a stage for all my foes to see

How powerful I am in you when, through pain, sin you flee.

Still my covenant will stand; I uphold you with my hand.”

You burn sin from us with fire!

Oh thank you, Father, you do show your faithfulness
