That's a good question; how badly DO you want the job? Bad enough to start digging into the Scriptures like your eternal life depended on it? (And it does). Do you think you've taken study of God's Word seriously enough?
Have you compared your heart thermostat with the Scriptures' standard of holiness?
Are you listening to what people tell you about your condition with God, or are you listening to what God is saying in the Word, and begging Him to give you eyes to see what you need to see as you're reading it?
